On 2 February LOAAY opened his solo exhibition in Kuwait at Dar Al Funoon titled Digital Prints of the Everyday Life. The exhibition continues until 13 February.

The exhibition opening was attended by a number of ambassadors, members of the royal family, renowned artists and many art collectors and enthusiasts.

“My exhibition is eclectic and the display is educational for those who are not familiar with what digital prints are about,” LOAAY explains.

Sisley, one of the most successful companies in the skin care and luxurious cosmetics industry, sponsors LOAAY’s upcoming solo art exhibition in Kuwait, Digital Prints of the Everyday Life, that will open from 2-13 February 2008 at Dar Al Funoon Gallery (bottom photo).

Digital Prints of the Colorful World, a solo exhibition by LOAAY, opened on 9 November at ArtSpace in Helsinki, Finland, and continues until 13 December.

LOAAY was introduced as the ArtSpace November 2007 artist by Mark Maher (top photo). Mark is an American artist working as Copywriter & Media Artist at Satama, one of the leading organizations in the Scandinavian world, and founder of the ArtSpace project.

Following his goal of No-ism, a completely free unlabeled self expression with emotional content, the artist exhibited artworks that share the same conceptual thought while maintaining their own esthetics.

The exhibition is available for private viewing by Satama society. To see one of the exhibited artworks click here. More artworks from this exhibition will be added to the website after the opening of Kuwait exhibition on February 2.

A Finnish Invitation

Digital Prints of the Colorful World is the title of the exhibition LOAAY will hold on November 9 at ArtSpace in Helsinki, Finland.

ArtSpace is the brainchild of Mark Maher, American artist working as Copywriter & Media Artist at Satama, one of the leading organizations in the Scandinavian world. ArtSpace exhibits work of artists from different disciplines to the Satama society.

Mark invited LOAAY to be the November 2007 artist at ArtSpace after viewing some of the artwork LOAAY keeps close to him as his mini portfolio.

“His work is accessible and easy to deconstruct, yet there’s something interesting about the whole feel of the artwork,” Mark explains.

Pictures will be added to the website a few days after the opening date.

Journey To Algeria

Algeria is the Arab Cultural City of 2007. As part of the city’s artistic calendar, The Collective Arab Art Exhibition is being held in April 2007.

Leyla Oussalah of Top Action Gallery and the exhibition manager has invited LOAAY to participate in this cultural activity and the artist presented LIFE IS A JOURNEY, PLAYER NO.5, and PREVIEWS.

Hamza Bounoua, one of the few leading Algerian artists who are internationally recognized (shows on the left talking to an Algerian journalist), has played a major role in bringing different artwork from the Arab world together.

“While most of the work displayed is viewed as ‘modern’, the work LOAAY presents is very contemporary,” comments Hamza to the journalist.
